Inset for Tutors
Start each half term with purpose, clarity and connection.
Inset for Tutors is your opportunity to pause, reset and grow. This termly programme gives you the space and support to develop your skills, reflect on your practice, and connect with a community that cares about doing tutoring well.
Each online INSET day includes three powerful sessions:
🔒 Safe (9:30–11:00)
Safeguarding essentials, delivered by experienced specialists. Stay up to date, build confidence in your responsibilities, and create safer learning environments.
🎓 Skilled (11:30–13:00)
Pedagogical strategies to enhance your tutoring. Get practical tools to boost engagement, personalise learning, and deepen impact.
🤝 Supported (14:00–15:30)
Supervision circles where you can reflect, share, and learn with others. You’ll leave feeling grounded, connected, and ready for the term ahead.

Held every summer on 2nd July, World Tutors’ Day is our flagship annual celebration of tutors and tutoring. It’s a day to reflect on the impact tutors have around the world, to share stories, and to reconnect with our why.
Expect a joyful, affirming atmosphere with keynote talks, practical workshops, and opportunities to meet fellow tutors from across the UK and beyond. Whether you’re new to tutoring or have been in the field for years, World Tutors’ Day is a reminder that you’re part of a growing and important profession.

Each January, we gather at BETT – the world’s leading education technology show – for our winter meetup: BETT for Tutors. This is your chance to explore the latest tools, trends, and ideas shaping the future of education, with a special lens on how these innovations support and empower tutors.
We host guided tours of the BETT floor, facilitate QT member meetups and discussion groups, and run spotlight sessions focused on AI, safeguarding, and growing your tutoring business in a digital world.
