The Qualification for Tutors Online Seminar

This is our legacy course, and is currently available to manning's tutors only. All other tutors should take advantage of our Level 3 in Education and Training certification course, certified by Highfield Qualifications.

The Qualification for Tutors seminar for Manning's tutors covers professionalism, safeguarding, learning cultures, assessment for learning, evidence-based best practice in planning and teaching, and an overview of SEND, Mental Health and Wellbeing.

We give practical strategies and underpin them with up-to-date evidence and pedagogical theory.

During the course of online learning, tutors will have the opportunity to absorb and reflect upon the foundations of teaching and learning, within a supportive learning community.

The combination of live Zoom workshops and weekly ‘application’ tasks shared within this private cohort space means that our participants benefit from a continuous learning experience rich with peer support and expert facilitation.

Online Learning at its Best

We create a collaborative and transformative learning experience.

During the length of the course, we run weekly online workshops where we present best pedagogical practice with breakouts for you to share your thoughts with other tutors.

The workshops are facilitated by experienced teacher-trainers and are accompanied by entirely original workbooks for you to annotate and refer back to.

In between workshops, you will be given a short Weekly Task to reflect on course materials. This space is designed to be somewhere where you can post responses to the Weekly Tasks, respond to others and access course materials and bonus resources.
